Payment Information
A plain-language summary of how Threadline paid plans, PayPal checkout, cancellation, and refunds work.
Current plans
Promotional or founding offers may temporarily change the price or eligibility of a plan. See the offer shown when you claim it.
How payment works
Paid self-serve checkout currently uses PayPal. Depending on PayPal availability, you may approve payment using a PayPal account or an eligible card through PayPal. Threadline does not ask you to enter full card credentials into the Threadline comments widget.
- Select a paid plan on Pricing.
- Complete the PayPal checkout and approve the payment.
- Threadline confirms the payment and activates the corresponding paid entitlement.
- Your prepaid month ends on the displayed expiration date. There is no automatic renewal for the current Pro/Publisher self-serve plans.
Cancellation
You can cancel from Threadline billing controls. The current product behavior switches the account to Free immediately. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund, and the normal refund-request path is unavailable after cancellation. This means you should request a refund before canceling if you believe you are eligible.
Refund requests
You may submit a refund request within 14 days of a payment while the paid plan remains active. The request asks for a reason and is reviewed through Threadline support/admin workflow. The refund request endpoint records whether the request is within the 14-day policy window; submitting a request does not itself guarantee approval.
If you cancel to Free first, the normal refund-request flow is unavailable. For exceptional circumstances, contact Contact support.
Receipts and payment records
Threadline records the payment/subscription information needed to provide paid access and support billing. Your Billing page shows available payment history. PayPal remains the payment processor for the self-serve checkout, and PayPal may provide its own transaction record or receipt.
Payment-card handling is performed through PayPal rather than through the Threadline comments widget.
